In today’s highly competitive Health Insurance market everyone at Virginia Group Benefits, Inc. understands that licensed agents have a choice of where to place their business for Individual and Group Health Insurance as well as other ancillary products such as Dental, Vision, Short and Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance. That is why we pride ourselves in the services that we provide to our agents.

Those services include, running current rate proposals and comparative illustrations, prescreening of all submitted applications to make sure they are complete before they are sent on to an insurance carrier, following the new application through the underwriting process, keeping the writing agent apprised of the application status, advising the agent if more information or requirements are needed for a specific case, and finally to let the agent know when an offer of insurance has been made. We also assist our agents in receiving their yearly Individual and Group renewals from the different carriers that they represent well in advance of the actual renewal date to aid in effective planning. In addition to these services, we keep all of our agents up to date on industry trend changes as well as Health Care Reform implementation timelines and guidelines.
